Esta peça foi um presente do nosso amigo Jefferson Gonçalves, que, durante uma viagem através da parte nordeste do Brasil (aqui onde vivemos), compôs a melodia inspirada originalmente para execução na gaita e sob influências das manifestações rítmicas folclóricas da Mussuca (uma pequena e antiga comunidade que vive perto de Aracaju). Assim, da Mussuca, a encantadora cantora localmente conhecida como `Dona Nadir` gentilmente aceitou nosso convite para participar do arranjo com gosto de fusão musical que fizemos para a peça original de Jefferson Gonçalves.

This piece was a gift from our friend Jefferson Gonçalves, who, during a trip through the northeast part of Brazil (where the Café Pequeno lives), composed a melody originally for harmonica, and inspired by his visit to the 'Mussuca' (a small and ancient community living near Aracaju). From this community, the charming singer locally known as 'Dona Nadir' kindly accepted our invitation to take part in our flavor-fusing musical arrangement of the original piece by Jefferson Goncalves.
